On April 14, 2014, 200+ school students were abducted by Boko Haram in their school’s dormitory at the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, a small town in Borno State, Nigeria. The abducted girls were taken to an unknown location. On May 3rd, in an attempt to help #BringBackOurGirls, the youths of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia gathered together as they protested for the government’s involvement in the search for the girls. Nollege Wizdumb asked for everyone’s involvement in the creation of awareness with the reading of his poem dedicated to the cause – Will You? The protest was aired by CNN and shortly became a global concern with the involvement of many well known people, including the United States of America’s First Lady – Mrs. Michelle Obama, in the cause.
